Finished sample of painted bird to go in the Nature Diary that we are making this term. The idea came from a book called Nature Inspired by Tracie Lynn Huskamp.

Some samples for next weeks class of birds painted with Neocolor II onto soft calico.

Cake

Bit late I know but this was the acorn decoration I made for our Christmas cake this year. The leaves were cut with a little metal cutter and acorn cups made from a tiny mould. The sides of the cake were impressed with a rubbing plate which seemed to work well.
